Chesca Duchatschek – Scrum  Master

Welcome to week three of our ‘Get to Know Us’ series!

This week we spoke to Chesca Duchatschek, Simply Workflow’s Scrum Master, who joined our team in February 2021. Chesca currently works remotely and is based in Scotland.

We asked Chesca the following questions:

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career? 

Probably don’t sweat the small stuff, learn as much as you can and try and do something you enjoy. 

Can you tell me something exciting that you have worked on at Simply Workflow?

All of it is exciting but probably the scrum master stuff stands out as it wasn’t something I’ve really done before so it was interesting to learn how that works and how to apply that. Just being involved in that side of everything has been really interesting to learn.

Which fictional family would you want to be part of? 

Oh interesting! Maybe the Adamms family, Patricia and Gomez have so much love for eachother and it’s just like a really cool family to be part of. 

Are you a morning person or a night owl? 

A night owl definitely!

What three items would you take with you to a deserted island? 

Probably a book of some kind or a compendium so I’m not just reading the same book over and over again, so a collection of stories I guess. A toothbrush probably and a tent for some kind of shelter.

What did you want to be when you grew up when you were a child?

The earliest thing I can remember is wanting to be an artist, like a painter or something. 

Pineapple on pizza. Yes or no? 

I’m not super averse to it, I don’t have a strong opinion on it but I don’t personally like it. Not really for me!
